reined-in quips,
the mastery of the unpredictable:
hush hush the banter that disrespects the sobriety of rule!
censor words unflattering,
beat the humor out of the imaginative.
forlorn spirits undermine the self-interest of witty minds.
beat
the humour
out of the
people.
reined-in questions,
the mastery of the meddlesome:
hush hush the query that threatens the incontestable law!
condemn words defiant,
pound the interest out of the intelligent.
unanswered questions deflate the sedition in knowledge.
pound
the interest
out of the
people.
reined-in qualms,
the mastery of the nervous:
hush hush the doubt that mistrusts the safety of regulation!
calm words anxious,
hammer the unease out of the insecure.
comforted hearts ratify the superiority of acquiescence.
hammer
the unease
out of the
people.
reined-in quests,
the mastery of the adventuresome:
hush hush the vivacity that undermines the course of order!
control words dynamic,
strangle the boldness out of the intrepid.
restrained ambition quells the discovery of alternatives.
strangle
the boldness
out of the
people.

ah this is a classic poem. so great. and brings back fond memories of being squashed on a bench under trees waiting for hp. *sigh*
i just looked at the chicago album and it was amazing. then i looked over at your interests and noticed "dropping basilisk fangs." and now i'm crying.
