I don't know if you can tell, but those white clouds in front of the blackness are moving *extremely fast*, and bringing with them an incredibly awesome-smelling horizontal rain. That ↑, in fact, was this ↓:
Which then caused this ↓ to happen to mom and dad's bridge:
