Dog Cloning.

Few things make me this angry.

Honestly, how selfish are these humans? They want to take the creation of life into their own hands, sacrificing the lives of innocent animals in the process. They have a 25% SUCCESS RATE. That means they have a 75% DEATH RATE. Also, they're heralding the selfish regeneration of life in an effort to reproduce a RELATIONSHIP that is personality-specific. What happens if the cloned animal doesn't have the same personality? Do you put it down? Do you treat it with less respect because you "created" it? What kind of expectations and worth are forecasted onto these animals?

What about the homeless animals that
ARE ALREADY HERE AND NEED SOMEONE TO LOVE THEM?

This dog and her sister were found in a STORM DRAIN.

This dog and his littermates were found in a BOX BY THE ROAD.

What about these faces?

And let's certainly not make these people concern themselves
with all the abused dogs treated like commodities in PUPPY MILLS.

Yeah, let's just make some more dogs.

One more note to America, The Land of Luxury:
How about we take those millions of dollars spent on cloning research and
the cloning process (at least $20 million so far)...
how about we spend those dollars on, oh, I don't know... PEOPLE?
YOU CAN SPONSOR A CHILD'S ENTIRE EXISTENCE FOR AN ENTIRE YEAR FOR LESS THAN $500.
Or, why not donate to an animal shelter? I'd wager that for the cost of ONE cloned pet
you could fund an ENTIRE shelter for as long as a year.

But, oh wait -- that might help more than JUST YOU.
